The Preservation of an Outlaw Hideout In the southern part of Meade, Kansas, four blocks south of highway 54, still stands the two-room house that was first occupied by Mr. Eva Dalton, sister of the infamous outlaws, married J. Whipple October 15,at which time they moved into the newly constructed house Whipple had built for his bride. The house was on the outskirts of town in those days, the landscape dropped sharply from the house to a streambed to the south where water occasionally flowed into Crooked Creek to the east.
Hi Billy, how are you?
So presumably the traveling is exhausting? Nah, the traveling is dead easy because I have about four days between each gig. So if I got bored between shows a movie would turn up.
I had to be able switch in and out of different modes, because acting is a different discipline. But the change is very good for ya. Are you living in the UK at the moment? No, I live in New York. Do you remember your first visit to the US?
Oh it was a long, long time ago. Did you come to perform or as a tourist? I came to perform. I was in Boston and the Vietnam War was on. Did you ever have to tailor any of your material and make it a bit more region-specific?
At first I did. I had to change to suit the different culture.
I had to change all my words and everything, because in those days, I was dealing in a lot of colloquial Scottish stuff—so I had to change it.
It took a while. Subsequently when I came over, I would always go to New York first. Listen to them talking.
I should give that a try. I do that too! My friends laugh at me. Yeah, me as well. If you could change one thing about the US, what would you change?
You have to take a step back and remember that every now and again. But then again, happiness is written into their constitution as well, which makes them pretty unique. Yeah but do you think their milk tastes funny?
Aye, but you can find regular milk. They have about 17 kinds of milk in the supermarket! I remember being shocked the first time I went to an American supermarket and they had dairy free milk.anyone have this sound file..i need to edit the swearing out of it but in the (famous) powerpoint presentation it appears ot be embedded(?)vetconnexx.com You disliked this video.
